Hongyuan Jiang （姜洪源 ）
Prof. Jiang received the BS and MS degrees in Solid Mechanics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2001 and 2004. He then obtained a MS degree in Applied Mathematics and a Ph.D. degree in Solid Mechanics from Brown University in 2009. Prof. Jiang served as a post-doctoral research associate in Johns Hopkins University after he finished his PhD. degree, and he joined the Department of Modern Mechanics in University of Science and Technology of China as a titled professor in 2013. Prof. Jiang was also supported by the "National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars" (杰青) and "National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars" （优青）, and won "Outstanding Advisor Award of the Chinese Academy of Science", "Outstanding Scholar Award of Tang Lixin", and "Young Teacher Career Award of Overseas Alumni Foundation" and other awards.
