Code, Data and Else (CDE)
CDE movement aims at that all materials related to research papers be publicly available. It was first proposed long ago by an unknown researcher whose name was obsucred in the history. Now in the Internet era, it encourages authors to simply put the related CDE online --- the CDE-online Movement.
An echo and extension of this spirit is
the USTC CDE-online project. It includes
- The USTC Value-added Extra-GAlactic Catalog (USTC-Vegac);
- Pipeline code of spectral starlight--AGN decomposition;
- Pipeline code of QSO spectral fitting;
- Pipeline code of emission-line profile fitting.

I'm on a long leave from Univ. of Sci. & Tech. of China starting from April 2010
(currently visiting at Carnegie Observatories, Pasadena), so I feel very sorry that
the above plan is halted
and some adjustment will be made after the discussions of all collaborators.
