   Kui Ren 博士1998年本科毕业于浙江大学；2001年硕士毕业于浙江大学；2007年博士毕业于美国Worcester Polytechnic Institute计算机工程专业，获博士学位。
   Kui Ren 博士先后在中科院上海微系统与信息技术研究所、新加坡Institute for Infocomm Research、韩国Information and Communications University、美国伊利诺伊理工大学（Illinois Institute of Technology）工作，现为美国纽约州立大学布法罗分校计算机科学与工程系副教授、博士生导师、Ubiquitous Security & Privacy Research Laboratory主任和创办人，IEEE 高级会员。
   Kui Ren 博士是IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security，及IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid的编委、IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE Communications Survey and Tutorials, 及 Journal of Communications and Networks 的副主编，ASIACCS-SCC2013, WASA 2013, IEEE CNS-SPCC 2013, IWCMC-Security 2013, ICNC-CCN Symposium 2013、IEEE ICDCS-SPCC 2012, IEEE Globecom-CSS Symposium, 2011, ICCCN-NSP Symposium 2010, IEEE VTC-ASN Symposium 2010 程序委员会联合主席, ESORICS’09, ’12,'13、INFOCOM’09-’14, ICDCS’09-’13, DBSec’12,'13、SECON’12、Securecomm’09, ’11- ’13、Globcom’08-’12, ICC’08-’12, AISIACCS’09, ’11, '13, WISEC’09, ’10 等多个国际主流会议程序委员。
   Kui Ren 博士曾应邀在 Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University，University of Florida、University of Waterloo, Syracuse University, JHU/Applies Physics Lab, University of Massachussets-Lowell、Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, Air Force Research Lab, Governor State University, University of Michigan-Dearborn, Concordia University等多所大学和研究机构做云计算安全相关学术报告。应邀多次在美国国家自然科学基金委员会云计算会议与IEEE顶级会议INFOCOM－云计算论坛等作特邀报告。
   Kui Ren 博士主持完成了美国国家自然科学基金等多项科研课题，并获得著名美国国家自然科学基金Faculty Early Career Development（CAREER） 奖及Sigma XI／IIT 青年教授研究奖。在国际顶级期刊如《IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems》，《IEEE Transactions on Computers》，《IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing》，《IEEE Internet Computing》，《IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications》， 《IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology》，《IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid》，《IEEE Transactions on Service Computing》以及顶级会议INFOCOM, ICNP, ICDCS等发表50余篇很有影响的论文，迄今已在国际会议及期刊杂志累计发表超过100 篇以上的高水平论文。获得顶级会议IEEE ICNP 2011 最佳论文奖。根据Google Scholar统计，论文总引用超过3,300篇次。Kui Ren 博士是多个国家的科学基金评审人。
