Big Data promises to reshape tomorrow's knowledge, society and economy. The technologies that are used to generate, collect, process, compute and communicate Big Data have made significant progresses in the past few years. Such a disruptive technology inevitably poses a number of significant challenges on the underlying system design. The International Conference on Big Data Computing and Communications (BIGCOM2018), which is to be held on August 8-10, IIT, Chicago, aims to address these challenges. The conference is targeted to attract researchers and practitioners who are interested in Big Data analytics, management, security and privacy, communication and high performance computing in its broadest sense. We welcome original, unpublished research papers that emphasize theoretical foundations, modeling, algorithmic methodologies, and data-driven applications. We also welcome visionary papers on new and emerging topics. The related topics include but not limited to the following:

Paper Submission |

All paper submissions will be handled electronically at the submission site. Submitted papers must be original work, and it must neither be already published nor be currently under review for publication in any other venue.
Any papers that do not adhere to the following guidelines will be immediately rejected: |
- Submitted in PDF format
- Maximum of 6 pages
- Font size no smaller than 10 points
- Fit properly on US letter-sized paper (8.5 inches x 11 inches)

The conference proceeding will be published by IEEE and indexed by EI. Selected papers will be recommended to publish at SCI-indexed journals such as Sensors (MDPI) and Tsinghua Science and Technology. |
