Welcome to the Biomedical Optical Imaging Group with the Department of Precision Machinery and Instrumentation at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). The group is founded in 2017 and is part of the Lab for Multimodal Biomedical Imaging and Therapy (MBIT). We are dedicated to the development and translation of novel optical and ultrasound based imaging and sensing technologies for biomedicine.

- Call for Papers, LU2020, the 7th International Symposium on Laser Ultrasonics and Advanced Sensing, Nanjing, China, Oct. 18th to 22nd, 2020. Abstract submission deadline: April 20, 2020. Link.

- We are organizing a Research Topic in Fronters in Physics (SCI indexed, IF: 1.895), entitled "Optics and Ultrasound in Biomedicine: Sensing, Imaging and Therapy". The submission deadline is Aug. 31, 2020. Please Read and Contribute.

- We are seeking for highly motived postdoctoral and predoctoral candidates to join the group. Applicants should hold a Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. degree in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Ultrasonics, or a related field.
