Chao Tian, Ph.D. Email: ctian#ustc.edu.cn Biography: Chao Tian is a professor at the School of Engineering Science, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Optical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. From 2013 to 2017, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in photoacoustic imaging with the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a Senior Member of Optica, SPIE, and a member of IEEE. His research interests focus on photoacoustic and ultrasound imaging and their biomedical applications. Personal Homepage |

Songde Liu, Ph.D. Email: liusde#ustc.edu.cn Biography: Songde Liu is an associate professor at the School of Engineering Science, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China. He received the B.S. degree in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrument and the Ph.D. degree in Instrument Science and Technology from USTC. From 2020 to 2021, he worked as a post-doctor in photoacoustic and ultrasound imaging with the School of Engineering Science at USTC. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as a senior engineer at Shanghai Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. His research interests focus on photoacoustic computed tomography (PACT), ultrasound computed tomography (USCT), metamaterial and their biomedical applications. Personal Homepage |
