Chao Tian, Ph.D.
Biography: Dr. Chao Tian is a Professor at the School of Engineering Science, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and his Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, both from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. From 2013 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he specialized in photoacoustic imaging. He is a recipient of the International Photoacoustic and Photothermal Association (IPPA) Junior Prize and a Fellow of SPIE. His research interests encompass photoacoustic and ultrasound imaging technologies and their biomedical applications.
