Dr. Changzheng Wu obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees at University of Science & Technology of China in 2002 and 2007, respectively, with Prof. Yi Xie. And then He joined Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale as a postdoctoral fellow. He started to work at Department of Chemistry, USTC as a associate professor in Sept. 2009. On Sept. 2012, he was promoted to a Professor. Until now, he has published 70+ papers with total citation of over 2000 and H-index of 27. He received NSFC Excellent Young Scientist Fellowship (2012), LU Jiaxi Youth Talent Award (2012,CAS), New Century Excellent Talents in Universities(2010, MOE), National Prize for Natural Sciences of China (Second place).

Dr. Wu's research is highly interdisciplinary. Our current research interests focus on low-dimensional solids with efforts to understand them under fundamental concept of solid-state chemistry. Currently, we are actively exploring inorganic two-dimensional nanomaterials, phase transition materials and strong correlated electron systems, for their wide applications in electrocatalysis, energy storage or energy conversion via regulation of intrinsic physical properties.
