Dr. Wu's research is highly interdisciplinary. His current research interests focus on low-dimensional solids with efforts to understanding them based on fundamental concepts of solid-state chemistry. We are actively exploring inorganic two-dimensional nanomaterials, phase transition materials and strong correlated electron systems, with a broad range of nanoscale properties including electronic, photonic, electrochemical, catalytic and surface/interfacial properties, for wide applications in electrocatalysis, energy storage or energy conversion via regulation of intrinsic physical properties.
1. Regulation of electrical behavior and spin ordering in nanoscale, and understanding their fundamental relationship of intrinsic physical properties with promising applications in catalytic process and energy storage or conversion.
