Welcome to the Laboratory of Functional Fullerene Materials

	Dr. Shangfeng Yang (PhD, FRSC) Dr. Shangfeng Yang is currently Chair Professor of University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and elected as Fellow of RSC (FRSC). He received his Ph. D. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2003. He then joined Leibniz-Institute for Solid State and Materials Research (IFW) Dresden, Germany as an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellow (2004-2005) and a Guest Scientist (2005-2007). In Dec. 2007 he joined University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) as a full professor of Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and has been appointed as Department Head (Oct. 2014 - Sept. 2021), the Deputy Director of CAS Key Laboratory of Materials for Energy Conversion (Oct. 2015 - Jan. 2025), and Deputy Dean of School of Chemistry and Materials Science in Oct. 2021. His current research interests include the synthesis and characterization of novel nanocarbons (mainly endohedral fullerenes) as well as their applications in organic/perovskite solar cells. Dr. Yang published over 410 peer-reviewed papers in journals including Nat. Chem., Joule, PNAS, Nature Commun., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Chem. Rev., Chem. Soc. Rev., Acc. Chem. Res., listed among Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers, edited two monographs entitled ‘‘Endohedral Fullerenes: From Fundamentals to Applications’’ (World Scientific Publishing Co.) and "Fullerenes: Fundamentals to Applications" (Scientic Publisher), and contributed to 9 book chapters. He delivered more than 120 invited lectures in international and domestic conferences. He was the recipient of “Humboldt Research Award”, “Young Faculty Award” of USTC Alumni Foundation, "CAS Excellent Supervisor Award".

杨上峰，中国科学技术大学讲席教授，博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者，英国皇家化学会会士。2003年底在香港科技大学获理学博士学位。2004年2月至2007年12月获得洪堡基金会资助在德国莱布尼兹固体材料研究所工作，后担任guest scientist，代理课题组组长。2007年12月加入中国科学技术大学材料科学与工程系任教授，2014年10月-2021年9月任材料科学与工程系执行主任，2015年10月月-2025年1月任中国科学院能量转换材料重点实验室副主任，2021年10月起任化学与材料科学学院副院长。长期从事富勒烯功能材料的研究，目前的主要研究方向是新型碳纳米材料的合成及在有机/钙钛矿太阳能电池中的应用。迄今为止已在包括Nat. Chem, Joule, PNAS, Nat. Commun.，Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Chem. Rev., Chem. Soc. Rev., Acc. Chem. Res.等国际学术期刊上发表论文410余篇，入选科睿唯安全球高被引科学家榜单。曾获“洪堡研究奖”、中国科学院“优秀导师奖”、中国科学院“朱李月华优秀教师奖”、中国科学技术大学校友基金会“优秀青年教师奖”、安徽省自然科学二等奖。入选中国科学院“百人计划”（结题评估优秀）、安徽省首批“百人计划”。
