Introduction

The International Workshop on Emerging Issues and Challenges to Financial Engineering will be organized by University of Science and Technology of China . The workshop will be held in Urumqi, XinJiang province, P.R. China. It is cosponsored by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS), Xinjiang Normal University and University of South Alabama.The dates of the workshop are July 13-23, 2012.

The major concentration of the conference's academic activities will be on some emerging issues and challenges to mathematical finance and related topics.
