Self View I am professor of astronomy at University of Science and Technology of China. My research focuses on large-scale structure of the universe, active galactic nuclei and galaxy formation. I study the formation of dark matter halos and the correlation with the large scale environment. I develope methods to reconstruct the mass, tidal, velocity and formation history of local universe from observational data and use the resultant constrained simulation to study galaxy formation and evolution. I also study active galactic nuclei, in particular the outflow through absorption and emission lines, and the connection with their host galaxies. Please refer to my Research and Publications for details of my research interest.
