Research

We create and apply new tools to understand complex Environmental Interfacial Chemistry (EIC) processes. The EIC Lab is an interdisciplinary research team devoted to developing and applying novel technologies for a fundamental understanding of the complex Environmental Interfacial Chemistry processes. Specifically, we develop a host of methods that enable visualization of Environmental Interfacial Chemistry processes at the single-particle, -cell, and -molecule level. We are applying these technologies for studying microbial attachment and charge transfer, and catalytic conversion of pollutants.
