Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to attend the workshop on 'Advances in Modeling of Nano Materials (AMNM)', a satellite meeting of the 15th International Congress of Quantum Chemistry (ICQC). It will be held during June 14-16, 2015 at University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China.

The workshop will focus on recent advances in theory method and simulation of materials at the nanoscale. Poster presentation is also welcome for any participant. Topics in the workshop include:

• Theory, algorithm, and method
• Materials design and simulation
• Kinetics in nano materials

This ICQC conference series was initiated by the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science (IAQMS) in 1973 and was held every third year since, and four recent meetings in Bonn (2003), Kyoto (2006), Helsinki (2009), and Boulder (2012). It has been probably the most important event for theoretical and computational chemists all over the world. The 15th ICQC main conference will take place in Beijing during June 8-13, 2015 before this workshop. As the tradition goes, eight satellite meetings will be organized to highlight recent progress in related areas of theoretical chemistry.
