Call for Papers

Big Data promises to reshape tomorrow's knowledge, society and economy. The technologies that are used to generate, collect, process, compute and communicate Big Data have made significant progresses in the past few years. Such a disruptive technology inevitably poses a number of significant challenges on the underlying system design. The International Conference on Big Data Computing and Communications (BIGCOM2019), which is to be held on August 9-11, QingDao, China, aims to address these challenges. The conference is targeted to attract researchers and practitioners who are interested in Big Data analytics, management, security and privacy, communication and high performance computing in its broadest sense. We welcome original, unpublished research papers that emphasize theoretical foundations, modeling, algorithmic methodologies, and data-driven applications. We also welcome visionary papers on new and emerging topics. The related topics include but not limited to the following:

  • Paper Submission
    Review policy: Authors may choose either to include or to exclude their identify in the submission. The program committee members are instructed not to disadvantage a submission either way. All submissions should follow the IEEE 8.5 inch x 11 inch Two-Column Format. Papers that do not adhere to the following guidelines will be rejected without review:
  • Submitted in PDF format
  • The page limits are 9 pages for the long paper and 5 pages for the short paper (including reference).
  • US letter-sized (8.5 inches x 11 inches) and two-Column format
  • Font size no smaller than 10 points
  • The conference proceeding will be published by Conference Publishing Services (CPS) and submitted for indexing by to EI. Selected papers will be recommended to publish at SCI-indexed journals such as IJDSN, IEEE ACCESS, Sensors (SCI, IF:2.245) and Tsinghua Science and Technology (SCI, IF:1.365).
