NAME:   Mingjun Xiao (肖明军)

He received double bachelor's degrees and the doctorate degree in computer science and technology from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1999 and 2004, respectively. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Information Science and Technology in USTC from 2004 to 2006, after which he became a lecturer in USTC. He was a visiting scholar at Temple University in USA from 2011 to 2012. Currently, he is a professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, the School of Data Science, and the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research in USTC.

In recent years, he has led 10 national and provincial-or-ministerial-level research projects and participated in more than 10 national projects. He has published more than 100 papers on high-level international journals and conferences (such as IEEE Trans. on Computers、IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing、IEEE/ACM Trans. on Networking、IEEE Trans. on Parallel and Distributed Systems、IEEE Trans. on Knowledge and Data Engineering、INFOCOM, ICDE, etc.) and received more than 2600 google scholar citations, among which 6 papers are cited more than 100 times. He has 2 authorized patents and published a monograph. He won the second prize of Anhui Province Natural Science (ranked 1st), the second prize of Ministry of Education Natural Science (ranked 7th), The USTC Alumni Foundation Young Teachers Career Award, Excellent Doctoral Supervisor of Chinese Academy of Sciences, ICCCN 2020, CWSN 2012 and CWSN2009 Best Paper Awards.

He has served as the TPC, Track Co-Chair, or Workshop Co-Chair for many top conferences, such as INFOCOM, ICDCS, IJCAI, DASFAA, ICCCN, ICC, WISE, and is also on the reviewer board of many top journals, such as IEEE Trans. on Computers, IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing, IEEE Trans. on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE/ACM Trans. on Networking, IEEE Trans. on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Trans. on Service Computing, IEEE Trans. on Vehicle Technology, and so on.
