Biography

Zhouwang Yang is now an associate professor in Mathematics at USTC. He received his Bachelor degree, Master degree and PhD degree in Mathematics from USTC in 1997, 2000 and 2005, respectively. He worked at Seoul National University as a postdoctoral researcher from December 2006 to November 2007. He was a visiting scholar in School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) at Georgia Tech during 2010 and 2011.

Honors and Awards: the Funding for New Century Excellent Talents in University (2011); the "Kun-Xue-Shou-Wang" Award for Excellence in Teaching (2012).
