| During pursuing his PhD degree, he perfectly 
              completed the research on a PC based virtual 
              endoscopy system, which was supported by Natural Science Foundation 
              of Anhui province. He had accomplished a lot of significant work 
              on acceleration of volume rendering and navigation through 3D datasets. 
              Furthermore, he has made some studies of photographic 
              volume rendering based on 3D color datasets, such as visible 
              human cyosection datasets. He worked on ECG Simulation 
              Forward Problem based on Darn 1000 high performance parallel computer 
              funded by Natural Science Foundation. Besides areas above, he 
              has done some researhes on character recognition and image procesing 
              using HMM, neural netwoks, wavelet and so on. His current researches are focused on fire recognition 
              based on video, visualization of fire numerical simulation. |
