Admission:
Excepting student who is directly recommended by the original university, the
specialization enrolls graduate students from all over the country who have
received the Bachelor¨s degree and passed
the national graduate entrance examination. The examination consists of
four subjects:
102 Politics (required
by the nation)
201 English (required
by the nation)
318 Mathematical Analysis (required
by the department)
427 Linear Algebra and
Analytic Geometry (required by the department)
Thesis
for Master¨s Degree:
The
student who has completed the required courses and credits will freely select a
research subject under guide of the supervisor as his or her pursuit in the
thesis. The thesis in quality is required to reach the level that is able to be
published by some qualified academic journal.
Additional
Requirement:
Following the requirement of the Graduate School,
USTC, before received his or her master¨s degree, the candidate is required to
provide at least one research paper published or accepted by a journal that
academic reputation is not less than the national core journals¨.
